I can't go online on the Sims 4

Product: The Sims 4

Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.87.40.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Journey to Batuu, Get Famous, City Living, Moschino, Discover University, Get Together, Tiny Living, Spooky Stuff, and Cats & Dogs
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Do anything to try to go online in-game; open the gallery, try to click on any of the news on the main menu, etc.
What happens when the bug occurs? When it asks if I'd like to connect, I click connect and then it says "Attempting to Connect" and spins forever and never connects, even though I am online on Origin.
What do you expect to see? I would like to be able to open the gallery.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I've cleared the cache, repaired the game, restarted my computer, cleared my mods, allowed Origin and Sims 4 through firewall and antivirus, nothing's working. It just loads forever.

    I am also experiencing the same problem as well and it is utterly frustrating.

    Same issue for my friend too. He can't access the gallery at all and did all the troubleshooting that we could find from all the forums. He bought the game 2 days ago and has had the issue since the start ☹️

    Having same issue since the last update. I haven't been able to get into my gallery at all, just continues to spin. It's not my antivirus, I'm in online mode and nothing works!

    Same here. The update seems to have broken this. I've done all the usual things. Removed mods, cleared Origin cache, uninstalled and reinstalled Origin and I cannot get on the gallery to save my life.

    If you have mods it may be script mods. I made a new mod folder, repaired the game and now I can go into gallery. I kept script mods out and put regular mods back in and it worked, so may need to update certain script mods.
