I CAN'T OPEN THE GAME (SIMS 4)

Hello. 

I've bought the Sims 4 in December and I've been playing ever since. However, the other day when I tried to open it, nothing happened. I tried it numerous times and still nothing. So I opened Origin hoping I would be able to open the game.

But I wasn't able to select the option "Play" or "Jogar" (in portuguese), (it was in a lighter color). Then a few days later the option "Update" appeared. However, once again, nothing happened when i selected that option.

I don't know what is wrong! I've made some research on the internet, and no one else seems to have the same problem. I really hope you have some sort of solution, because I am getting out of options... 

Help, please.

    @xBiaCountinho  remove any Custom Content / Mods.

     Go in your Origin client, right clicking on icon Sims 4 and select Repair Game.

    Go in Game Options and unchecked the "online" box. Hit apply changes. Then  rechecked the box and hit apply again.I hope this helps you😕mileyhappy:

    could you be a bit more specific what do you mean by that ? Is Origin not running for you when you start the game ?

    I'll try helping you out.

    go to "My Game Library". You'll reach over at the game underneath it there's a settings Botton and a star Botton. Press the settings Botton and once you read all the selections you'll find it.

    Me neither! I don't know what sims client is and I don't see a "repair game" option and I'm getting frustrated because I spent so much money on this game and now I won't even be able to play and this will be the second time because I have already had to rebuy this game once. I need somebody to help meeeee!

    @Sinaya25  You shouldn't have needed to buy the game a second time.  It should always be in your Origin account, to download for free whenever you want.

    For now, please sign into Origin, open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, and select Repair.  Restart your computer, and see whether you can play.  If not, please describe what happens, and post a screenshot of the error you get, if any.

    Hiii i wanted to say u can try and repair your game or delte/refresh ur data cash cus that can be a problem to1 so go and try it cus it really can help!
