I can't open the game

When I first played Sims 4, I went to the options and wanted to change the resolution. I changed it to the highest mode, then found out that my computer couldn't use that resolution. I want to change the resolution of the game and go back to the default settings, but I can't open the game since it is too high of a resolution to open. I there a way to change it or fix it? I uninstalled origins and the sims 4 and reinstalled it multiple times, but it still didn't work. I even made another origins account but found out I couldnt download the game since you cant reuse the product code. What should I do to fix it?
