I checked don't fill empty homes but random Sims keep moving in

This is getting really obnoxious but I am 100% sure that I ticked "don't fill empty homes" but after just a few days of playing all the empty homes are filled with random Sims? Could this be due to a mod?

  • @LuisLTPG  It could definitely be due to a mod, specifically MCCC.  That mod also has an option to fill empty houses, so you'll need to disable that too.

I suspected as much. How do I do that? What option is it under?

@LuisLTPG  I had to look it up; it's apparently a part of the MC Population module.  If you click on an in-game computer, you'll need to select MCCC > MC Population > Moving Settings > Allow Homeless Move-in > False.
