I give up, sims 4 won't play

You have Mcaffee AND malwarebytes? At the same time?
I'm willing to bet THAT's your problem right there. Having two scanners running at the same time on the same computer, both fighting for control will only make your PC go bonkers.
You don't need two scanners. If one isn't doing the job, you need to trash it and get another. Not run two. I'd stick with Mcaffee and dump the other one. See if that helps.

Psychotps, thanks, but I'm NOT running malwarebytes in real time, I only use it to scan my computer every now and then, so running mcafee only.
