My game will just freeze randomly.
Not really sure how else to describe it. I play The Sims through my Steam account, I'll be in CaS or building a house and the game just randomly freezes and the screen either turns black or white. I'll move my mouse around and I still hear noises as if I'm hovering over a button, but I can't play the game otherwise. I read online that I should delete localthumbcache.package, and it somehow made the issue worse in which I could not exit out of the tab and my computer's lights turned off for a moment. I'm not very tech savvy, so I don't know if I am describing the issue correctly.
It's also important to note that I have no CC or mods, but I have purchased Sims content. Not sure if they play a part.
