i need help in sims 4

whenever i try playing the sims 4, it goes well when i open the app and everything but as soon as i click "new game" where it takes me into the character editing mode, my screen goes white and nothin...

@Zainthegirl  This is mostly caused by mods right now.  Please see this post for a list of mods known to break CAS:

If CAS still doesn't work for you, please remove your entire Mods folder and test again.  If that doesn't work either, we can go through the non-mods-related troubleshooting steps.

    TYSM!!! i deleted my sims 4 mods folder and it fixed my problem, now that my cc is gone, i do want to start fresh, do you know any sites or certain cc creators that are safe for my game and wont bug it again? I appreciate your help!

      or in a Discord server for one of the popular, well-supported mods.  There's no one place that hosts mods and custom content you can always trust, and even the most well-maintained mods will need updates at times.  Some need an update almost every patch.  Their creators are often very conscientious about updating, but it does take some time, so you'll simply need to be aware of the possibility of broken mods each time you install a game update.
