Once the game is out, you can try it for 24 hours before buying if you buy it on Origin. You might run into issues once they start rolling out EPs :D
I have been having trouble with the demo as well, but it did load at one point. I removed it when I bought the actual game. Now the game doesn't work and I have the same information about initialization error at start-up!
