Installing The Sims 4 Get to Work expansion pack.
Could someone please explain to me how the Sims 4 Get to Work expansion pack is installed?
I have it showing up in the main menu under the heading My Packs, it shows as Owned, but it's opaque rather than fully coloured. When I put the mouse pointer over it it says "When this pack has finished downloading, restart The Sims 4 to install it."
I've had the game open on the main menu for several hours now and I can't tell whether it's installing or not. All of the game updates are up to date. To all intents and purposes after reading the message when my mouse pointer hovers over the expansion packs image it should be straight forward and it seems that I shouldn't have to do anything more than to wait for it to download, but it's taking such a long time that I'm wondering if that's right? 😯😯😯😕mileyfrustrated:
I had the same problem, go to "my games" in origin, and hover over it, click on the "i" for information, scroll down to the "Get to Work" DLC, and right click on it. Click, "check for update" and it should "restart" the installation, when it says installation complete on the bottom of the origin screen, click on that, and press play, and it should work after that. if it does not, click repair game and see if that works. You should have absolutely no problem after this! Happy Simming!!
