zr83q8sdh880 Deleting the file shouldn't have any effect on your ability to play. What happens when you try to launch the game? Please describe what you see, and if you get an error message, post a screenshot.
Please also let me know what antivirus you use and whether it lists any recent actions involving Sims 4 or the EA App. If it does, you can try allowing/setting an exception/whatever option is offered.
