Issues With For Rent

I'm having trouble with my game after buying and installing the For Rent expansion pack. Small glitches, such as kids toys disappearing from the Toy Box and nowhere on the lot or in anyone's inventory, to larger issues, such as when I, as the landlord, try to fix a tenant issue, I will get a notification that I failed to address the issue while my Sim is still engaged in addressing the issue and there is still time shown in the corner of the screen to fix these issues. I hope EA can come out with an update to fix these issues as it really hampers the playing experience and makes For Rent very frustrating.
