@bbjerka No, this is the proper way to create a symbolic link. But if you want more specific instructions, I can help with that. Please post the full file path to the folder Sims 4 is reading, as seen in-game. Here's how to find it:

Please also post the full file path to the folder you want to use on the external drive. This is not the one in your previous screenshot, which contains the game's program files; I mean a separate folder for the user data. Or if you don't care what that folder is called, just say so and I'll include that in the instructions.
