Keyboard stops responding in game after playing for a while..

my keyboard stops responding in game after playing for a while. yes i made sure it was connected properly, no ive never had this issue outside of the sims with this keyboard, and no it has never happened before. and no the keyboard is not new. same setup etc. it does it with and without mods. and happens every day i play. i have full functionality otherwise and have to restart the game to move the camera again. im on PC.

cc or mods removed

Sprinkles91xo If you still need help, let me know whether this happens if you keep the game in windowed mode the entire time you're playing; and whether it happens if you launch Sims 4 immediately after restarting your computer, with nothing else running aside from the EA App.
