peachampagne The feedback side of this has been posted a number of times, with no change that I know of, at least not yet. For the practical side, if you install the game through Steam, you should get the global version, which (last I heard) is the only one Steam offers.
If you want to try the Steam version, uninstall the EA App version, install through Steam, and launch the game once and quit. Open the EA App, click Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons, and download the packs you own there, but NOT a second copy of the base game. Your DLC should install into the Steam version and load as if you'd bought everything through Steam.
