Solved
Latest update wiped me out.
After the last update all my stuff is gone. All my saved games, all my builds, all my sims, all the custom content and mods, photos I took .... all those memories, GONE. It'll be like starting over...
I'm one of those people that runs Linux with the Steam/Proton compatibility layer, but your info helped me locate my missing stuff in the trash folder. My guess it was due to glitches with the update process.
