Launch the Sims 4 Through EA app WITHOUT updating to latest game patch?

As the title suggests, I'm wondering if there is a way to run the sims 4 through the new EA app without being forced to update the game. This was possible to do previously using Origin, and I can't f...

Hi, thanks for the reply. This does (sort of) work; however the offline status is reset every time you restart the app. If I for example launch the game through a desktop shortcut, the EA app is then automatically opened in online mode and I have to go through the dropdown menu process to run the game in offline mode each time the game is launched. This also means that the EA client will still automatically run forced updates.

There is currently no way to run the EA app in offline mode by default, I guess, which sucks.

@DieQuicker yes, that's how it is. Was that different for Origin ? There aren't that many forced updates for Sims 4 though.
