Launch the Sims 4 Through EA app WITHOUT updating to latest game patch?

As the title suggests, I'm wondering if there is a way to run the sims 4 through the new EA app without being forced to update the game. This was possible to do previously using Origin, and I can't f...

As of 5-30-2023, I can run my game without updating by turning off my Wi-Fi and running the game through the ea app.
