Link2ea Steam error when launching The Sims

Hello 

I have the issue launch The SIms 4 through Steam.

error: link2ea://launchgame/1222670?platform=steam&theme=ts4 Application not found

I own and play this game from 2021.

Laptop has enough performance to play this game, its used only for playing games.

I have tried reinstal game too, but till the same issue pop up.

    @borismel1981  Please uninstall the EA App using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine).  Restart your computer, download a fresh copy of the EA App installer, and run it.

    If you still can't play, restart your computer again, and this time, run both Steam and the EA App as an admin: right-click each one's desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator."  Only try to launch Sims 4 once both game launchers are open and have loaded fully.

    If that doesn't help either, please let me know what antivirus you use, if any.

    I had first downloaded it from steam. And had also previously had the EA app installed. After a month of not playing I tried to play it by double clicking on the tile but it did not work. So it tried to open it through steam but to no avail. And then I opened it through the EA app and it worked just fine

    It seems like this is happening repeatedly with Sims now. I'm repairing the ea app weekly.

    Hey, if anyone has this problem in the future, just use the uninstaller from the add or remove programs screen on windows, and click repair instead of uninstall. Should fix it.
