RuhemusIII Please test without mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package. You don't need to save your progress.
Please also see whether you get a lastUIexception file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 when this happens. It would be best to delete any you see now, then look for a new one after testing with no mods or cc. If you find one, open it and delete its first line of text, then attach it to a reply here using the paper clip (Attachment) icon. Alternately, you can copy the text and paste it into your reply.
