loading on loading screens for a long time

I use my friends sims as she has all the different packs, so it saves me having to buy them.  However, my game is taking forever to load. Once in game, I don't have any issues, just on the loading s...

      Thanks! You're playing on a laptop without a dedicated GPU, unfortunately that means that your CPU is pulling double duty to both run the game and graphics which will lead to longer wait times on loading screens.

        no wayy☹️( is there anything i can do about it? 

        i spoke to my friend and they said it’s best not to play it, as it will only over heat my laptop which will ruin it in the long run.
