Solved

Looks like I have broken cc but no CC is present

I saw someone on here ask a similar question but their solution didn't work for me. I reinstalled my Sims 4 game recently and for whatever reason, one specific packs items in accessories are showing up in game as if they're broken CC. But even physically removing all my CC and Mods didn't fix the problem. I've tried reinstalling a second time and repairing the game but neither solution worked. Reinstalling made the CAS items available and able to be seen on my sim without them glitching out but the icons for the objects are still broken? And only for female specific sims? Screenshots for what I'm seeing are included, this is WILD.

  • @cindefeplays  Please clear the EA App's cache (again, if you already have):

    https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/

Make sure the App isn't running, and neither is the EABackgroundService.  Both would show in the Task Manager, the latter in the background processes list.  Then go into the game's program files, which are likely in one of these locations if you didn't choose a custom install location:

    Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4

    Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4

    Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4

Delete the EP09 folder, which is for Eco Lifestyle.  Open the Delta folder and delete the EP09 folder there too.  Repair the game in the EA App, then download Eco Lifestyle again and see whether the thumbnails look normal now.

If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just load CAS and have a look at the EL items.

So the second solution, moving the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto my desktop- actually worked!

    Thank you so much!
