[MAC] Audio but no picture

Im running sims 4 on a mini mac and when i start up the audio is perfect but there is just a black screen!

    Ok. TS4 does work better on Yosemite. Does your Mac meet the minimum requirements for the game?

    • Minimum OS – Mac OS X Lion (10.7.5)
    • CPU – Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz or better
    • RAM – At least 4Gb RAM
    • Hard Drive – At least 10Gb of free space with at least 1Gb additional space for custom content
    • Video – NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT, ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro or better. Video RAM (VRAM) of 256 MB or better
    • Input – Keyboard and Mouse
    • Online Requirements: Internet Connection required for product activation

    Please can you provide more info about your Mac mini and game?

    Click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your desktop and select About This Mac. Please provide the following information (you may need to click on More Info depending on what operating system you're running:

    - Operating System (Version)
    - Mac model
    - Processor
    - Memory (RAM)
    - Graphics

    - Are you running any antivirus?
    - Do you have Time Machine/Spotify/Dropbox or similar running?

    - Have you tried to repair the game in Origin? Right click on the game in My Games and select Repair Game.
    - Do you use CC/Mods? If so, have you tried removing them and seeing if that fixes your problem?
    - What Expansion, Stuff and Game Packs do you have installed?

    Thank u so much for trying to help me but I finally got in touch with EA and they said I have to update to yosemite. (10.10)I'm doing it now and hope it works! I'm a stay at home mom now but since I was a small kid I've needed the sims in my life lol

    Yes, it works great now! For anyone with my same problem it has to be rubning on 10.10 (yosemite) 🙂 thanks for your help blue 🙂
