[MAC] No houses, no neighbors, all empty lots.

Hi, I have a major issue here, I just bought the game Sims 4 Deluxe Edition for my Macbook Pro (Mid-2012) and downloaded it on Origin, I've been playing for about 10 hours now and have not seen a single household besides my own, all the lots in the neighborhood are blank and are owned by no one, the only sims I see in the game are ones that run by every once in a while or ones I call... I do have the "fill households" box checked but it seems it makes not difference because there is no house for the sims to move into anyways. Please help me solve this issue, I've been trying really hard to find out the problem, thanks

Hey Feel sorry for you but if you remove the game and download again it should work the reason maybe of a downloading error

  • Try starting a new game to see if it's the same.

I assume you have not added any custom content or mods yet ?

No I do not have anything custom in the game as of yet, but I will try what the other guy said perhaps, and reinstall the game, is there anyway to do this wothout losing my progress, character, house, etc.? Thanks

Ok so I also did what you said and started a new game, I realised that newcrest is the only blank place, the other two worlds I have on here are filled with houses, is Newcrest supposed to be blank? And also is there a way to move my house and character to a new area? Thanks again ~Fox

Newcrest is a "blank" world to add or build houses as you wish to. The easiest way to "move" your family would be to upload the house to the Gallery and then place the house on a new lot and "move" your family to the "new" house/lot.
