EA Staff@endprocess @NikkeiSimmer Oh, well, I think if 'being mean to your Sims' (or 'killing your Sims') would be a ban-worthy offence, the forums would be a pretty lonely place... anyone here who hasn't ever been mean to their Sims? 😉

@emorrill unless something completely unexpected happens, your stories should be in the same place when the forum is back 🙂

It would have been nice if it was a planned maintenance to let people know and give them some notice, but for it to come on so suddenly like it did, was a bit remiss of EA unless it was an emergency. Even a general note up the top of the forums like they do when there's an update, would have given us some notice it was going to happen. I hope it won't be too long, I have competitions to run and scoring for others.
Is it to do with the "token" messages people are getting when trying to go between sites? And the 600 second spam block people are experiencing when they try to edit the first comment of their threads?
