Manage Worlds Edits Not Saving From Game to Game

UGH! Ok, the issue is I haven't played in a few months and when I went back in, all of my created sims (played households) were gone. Also gone were the lots I'd designed in NewCrest. All of them. So, I uninstalled, reinstalled, and started a brand new game...Scenario - made a female sim, put her on a lot, built a house, and saved. Went back in, she was there, decided to then design a community lot.....

Went to Manage worlds, designed my lot, saved, and exited...

Went back in....made a new game, a male this time....went to place him in a lot next to the female,...well, the female sim is gone, her house is gone and so is the community lot. BUT, when i go back out and go into HER saved game, she is there and so is the community lot. it is like a brand new game each time....nothing saving from game to game, so I can not create my world and have it full of families and lots I place. UGH, what is happening. 

I chatted with EA chat in India and they said it sounds like a "developer issue" and that I should posts to forums. WTH???? They don't service their own product? I need help figuring out why things are not saving from game to game. I don't want to create an entire world for EACH sim I create. Never done this before.

I do have CC, and I do download from the gallery, but always have. Oh, I also did a "repair game" on Origin site. AND, reset game, saving the original folder in a different name on deskstop. NOTHING working.

HELP please!!!!!

    When you create a new game the gameworld is reset to standard.

    Instead continue your game and choose to create a new household or to edit a lot from the neighborhood screen.

    Do you know why it isn't working as  before? So, how do I continue instead of creating a new game for each family as I have always done? Is this something different? I've played almost 300 hours and it's just now doing that...if you can, please show me picture of continue button.  So, if I continue a game, how do I choose what family I want to play. I used to be able to load the sim I wanted..if I connect all of the games, do I just then click on the family I wish to play? I know, I sound dumb, but I'm confused. alas.....thanks for any advice in advance.

    It has always worked like that. Only change is that the create new household button has been moved from the main screen to the neighborhood screen.

    Press the continue button to continue the latest played savegame or click Load game if you want to play an older savegame.
