Managed to fix my problem where it crashes during launch after update

So I tried everything possible and that was recommended to do. But what worked for me, is to go to settings on your pc and then to display-graphic. From there you should scroll down till you see The ...

Samadhi_Oleks  Click "Add desktop app," then look for Sims 4, or TS4_x64.
