Managed worlds is greyed out and game gets stuck on pause

My sims 4 game is stuck on pause and the save game and manage world button is grey. I have tried everything from deleting mods to creating a new save file and nothing has fixed the issue. If anyone h...

w4p5qaz7lnp2​  Did you remove your entire Mods folder?  If not, please try that now, and test a new save first.  If the new save is fine, you can try your old ones.

If that doesn't or didn't help, try playing with your computer offline.  You can sign into the EA App and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.
