Married Sim married to Sim they've never met

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm unsure how to find the bug exactly, but I had my married sim go to the Flea Market as part of an event thing a NPC sim asked them to. Upon arrival after purchasing some item they had a NPC come up to them that they've apparently never met and they were also married to that sim even though they had never met.
What happens when the bug occurs? The married sim is apparently married to another sim they've never met
What do you expect to see? A sim that they've never met with no relationship with them at all
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This bug has happened only once, and I couldn't get any screenshots of the incident as I didn't think to do so at the time.
