Ok, i dit that!
I am going to test now. I have send the console output and a new dxdiag.
@danikeijzers Is there a reason you're running the Legacy Edition of Sims 4? Your dxdiag shows that you weren't before but are now. Please switch back in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 4 icon, select Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options, and choose 64-bit from the dropdown menu. If you don't see the option, repair the game first—the option is in the same right-click menu—and look again.
If you still can't play in 64-bit, let me know, and if you get an error when trying to switch, please post a screenshot.
Please also let me know what antivirus you use, if any.
Finally, if you can play in 64-bit but still see low framerates, please move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and let me know how it runs.
You don't need to test while your computer is offline, at least not right now, but I'd suggest at least putting Origin in offline mode.
- 4 years ago@puzzlezaddict Yes, i tried to change version. Iam running 64 bits.
Clean it does work, i have 80-90 FPS. When i live in a gallery lot it is dropping to 12.- puzzlezaddict4 years agoHero+
@danikeijzers Okay, it sounds like the lot you've downloaded from the Gallery is complicated enough to impact performance even if that's not the only issue. This is fairly common when a lot has a large number of objects on it, especially (but not limited to) career rewards objects and items in inventory.
It's a limitation of the game engine, so there's not much you can do, although you may see a small improvement from Simp4Sims's graphicsrules overhaul. Among other things, the file's settings lower the frequency at which the game switches between using high and low level-of-detail renders, so there's less to calculate overall.
For Eco Lifestyle, I'd try reenabling it but disabling the eco effects. Sometimes that takes care of most of the performance impact originating from the pack.
- 4 years ago@puzzlezaddict I disabled the eco lifstyle pack. En then the FPS started to raise between 50 and 70
