Missing Content

I am currently missing all of my expansion, game and stuff packs. The content shows up in the EA app as downloaded but when I launch the Sims 4, it shows as owned but uninstalled, with no way to install. I was able to install the kits I have, but nothing else. I can't download them from the EA app. I also want to note that I have no mods in my game

As for troubleshooting; Ive restarted the app, cleared the cache, tried fully uninstalling the game and reinstalling, I tried repairing the game, Ive tried downloading them individually through the Marketplace (only worked for kits). It happened sometime before the latest patch, I was hoping this patch would fix it but it didn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The short version is that you likely have two copies of the game installed, one that has all the DLC (and the EA App recognizes this) and the other that's actually loading when you play. The guide has instructions for fixing the situation.

I have also had a similar issue. Some of my content (EPs, GPs, SPs) is missing in game despite it being downloaded, but not all of it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled everything, repaired the game, etc. I'm signed in on the correct account, it is all owned and downloaded per the EA app, but in game it appears as if it is not installed.

I do wanna also note that I tried reactivating them in Marketplace and checking my settings too to see if there was a way to do it there, but since they show up as uninstalled in my actual game and not the app, I can't reactivate them

Ohh okay I see what you mean. So, in the EA app they say installed, in Marketplace they say not installed. I know the EA app is wrong and not Marketplace because Ive tried making a new save and none of the ''installed' content was there. Is this another glitch with the EA app? lmao

OMG this is so weird! I am not the original poster in this thread. But YES I was logged in from a different account, so I logged out and tried my other Gmail profile and everything is there! It would have never occurred to me because when I logged in today after so many months, I saw a saved game where I saw Thiago Abrantes on the thumbnail. So I thought this was THE account! Anyways thank you for the help!

zakiarezoana Then it sounds like you've signed into the wrong account. Are you also the original poster in this thread? I ask because you can see two different usernames, so if you are the same person, you clearly have two EA accounts.

All my expansion packs, add-ons are gone (trying to stay calm), they don't show up on the screen where you would travel from world to world. they are not even showing up on the Manage add-ons.

kagracea Only kits and Maker packs can be downloaded through the Marketplace. The question is whether your packs show as not owned, not installed, or deactivated. In the last case, you can enable them and restart the game to have them appear. Otherwise, let me know what you see.

Please also open the EA App and click Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons. I'd like to know whether your packs are listed there too, and if so, whether they're installed. Feel free to post a screenshot.

It shows them as owned but there was no download button like with the kits. Is there a different process from kits to all the other packs? I haven't used Marketplace till now tbh
