missing dlc packs with new launcher (sims 4)

recently reinstalled Origin to play sims 4 for fun 

sims 4 updates just fine, i go on there, all my mods are functioning but all of my DLC packs? missing 

i don't know how to navigate the new app and the account is a shared one between me and a friend we have been using it together for years all she did recently was change the email for the account and that is it. the version of sims 4 that my friend bought is the digital deluxe

it says i am missing 20+ packs, but when i go onto my original save file i can clearly see that i had those packs prior otherwise yknow how would have i had even made the save in the first place if i didn't have any of those packs? 

i bought the packs aaages ago on G2A and i downloaded them through the old EA/Origin desktop and used them for 2+ years just fine, along comes this new app launcher and suddenly it just takes away my packs i spent money on..

in game it says all i need to do is simply restart the game and my packs will be back, i've done this four times and still nothing.

i spent well over £50+ on all of these packs, christmas and birthday money just getting them for me and my friend to use and now they're just gone and i can't find them again anywhere and all ea says is for me to buy them again. i really do not understand how a new launcher could just delete packs i had been using for years on the old launcher. 

i'm very frustrated because i like to play sims now and then, but its more frustration feeling like all my money has gone down the drain as my content is just gone. 

i tried to reinstall the launcher + the game, did nothing, same issue. i launched the game through the .exe as admin, still the issue is there. 

i don't know if this is a bug they're working on fixing or if suddenly it's not okay for the packs to be bought anywhere but on the app either-way it feels very slimy of ea to do. bought on the app or not that's still money completely gone and wasted.
