Missing Strange Smell Interaction

Moved 3 sims into the TLC apartment, mice show up my sims take care of it. But now there's a "strange smell" in the apartment and nothing to interact with. I googled and it's supposed to have a green...

    Can you try moving the the family out and back in via manage world ?

      I have not done that, but since I posted this I have started a new save file to see if the problem still occurs. In the apartment I had made some changes and moved furniture in front of the rat holes. The problem has not messed up in the same way at all, so I am not able to recreate the issue. However, it was fixed by starting a new game and not putting things in front of the rat holes.
