Missing Traits in CAS

I've noticed in CAS that the hexagons that pop up to select traits when creating a new sim aren't showing up. I haven't seen anyone else talking about it, so I'm not sure if it's a game issue or an issue with my computer (I only play on my laptop and don't have access to another computer that I can test it on).

I not sure exactly when this problem started because I mostly use build mode. I first noticed it after the cozy celebrations reward event (Dec.2024) I went in to test the new grouch trait and couldn't select any traits.

I have since found that if I am creating a new sim I cannot select or change traits and if I use the 'My Story' feature in CAS I cannot change the traits the story assigns. So far I have not noticed any other issues in CAS, I'm still able to pick aspirations, likes/dislikes, cause of death, and change into occult sims. Any help is appreciated
