Mods Folder Disappeared

My mods folder has completely disappeared. I can still access it through searching for a specific mods and finding that mods location but the folder is not in This PC > Documents> Electronic Arts> The Sims 4. I tried to add another mods folder to that location and it asks me if I want to merge it with my mods folder I already have and whether I press yes or no the mods folder I re-created disappears

Please open Terminal and copy and paste the following command then hit Enter/Return:

    find ~ -type d -name "*Mods*" 2>/dev/null

After a little while it will return the results of the search. Please copy and paste the results in a post here.

@SociallyBitter  Your thread is in the Windows forum now.  Right-click on a mod you've found and select Properties > General, and you'll see the full file path to the file.  Please post that file path here.

@SociallyBitter  Sorry for the late reply.  Clearly the Mods folder is there, or it wouldn't be showing up in your screenshot.  But if you just open a File Explorer window and click Documents, you may be landing in a different Documents folder.  Please right-click Documents in the left panel and select Properties > Location, then compare that location to the one in your screenshot.  The Documents folder may have OneDrive in its name, for example.

To get to the Mods folder in your screenshot, open File Explorer and click This PC in the left panel, then C > Users > Sean's PC > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4.  And just to clarify, is this the Sims 4 folder the game is reading?
