@Line_080889 That is a lot to spend on a monitor, and probably not necessary. I also want to point out that your laptop's GTX 1060 won't run Sims 4 at anywhere near 240 Hz on this monitor. In fact, I would guess that on ultra settings at a 2560x1440 resolution, you'd be seeing somewhere around 90 fps at best, with drops below that for various reasons. Lowering the settings would raise the framerates, but that kind of defeats the purpose of getting a high-quality monitor, at least where gaming is concerned.
That's not to say that using this monitor would be a bad experience, only that you wouldn't benefit from the high refresh rate. And you could get a much cheaper monitor that looked almost as good, and perhaps put the savings towards a better gaming machine if you decide you want one in the future.
I would also suggest looking at monitors in person. I find 2560x1440 slightly grainly on a 27" panel and more so at 32". I am admittedly spoiled by my MacBook Pro, and I don't really notice graininess in-game at 27", but I'm pretty sure I would at 32". You may have a different reaction, but still, it's worth finding out how you feel about the screen size and resolution before you make this kind of investment.
I don't know where you live, but in the U.S. at least, your local Best Buy likely has a number of monitors on display. Even if you don't see this exact monitor, you could get a sense of what similar specs are like and whether they deliver the experience you want.
