Moving Around the Screen
I am suddenly having trouble moving around the screen in Live Mode. It doesn't seem to matter whether my Sim is at Home or out in the World, I cannot "drag" the screen in any direction. I also cannot rotate the screen, which I used to be able to do. What I CAN do is hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse left, right, up, or down, which "sort of" gets me near where I want to be. This problem showed up after I installed City Living. It's becoming very frustrating!
I am truly excited now!!! I think I found the solution to my own problem. I went up to the upper right corner of my screen and clicked the Options Menu (the three dots...). Next, I clicked on Game Camera. Somehow, it had gotten The Sims 3 Camera box checked. I UNCHECKED that box and CHECKED the Edge Scrolling box. Viola! Back to the way I am accustomed to playing my game! I hope this helps someone else, too. 🙂
