Moving Mods from Drive C to D
I'm looking to move my Mods from the C drive to D, where I've got extra storage for all my games and such. Sims 4 is installed on D drive with no issue but I've been looking at ways to move the Documents over to D and keep getting mixed answers. I've seen mention of something called symlink that involves command prompt I guess, then another that has you go into properties and create some sort of shortcut that way.
When I did the second way, what came up on my D drive is this sort of shortcut at the very top:

I'm not certain if that means I can delete what I have in C:\Users\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods or not? It essentially copied over everything in my Documents to Drive D, which was the goal, but I'm uncertain if Sims 4 will know to go there to recognize it or not. Would really appreciate someone giving me a straight, clear answer on what exactly I'm supposed to do and when I can delete what Mod folder I have on C to save up space.
This is also on Windows 10.
