my cc isnt working

Question

I've tried downloading cc a few times but I failed every time. I enabled cc and scripted mods in my sims 4 game. I've tried reinstalling, repairing and tried to get a new mods folder after my failed attempt of trying to remake a new mods folder with Resource.cfg file. (Which I deleted but I made a new one so the Resource.cfg file problem is fixed.) I tried to download hair and a dress but it never really worked. I've never successfully downloaded any cc before and I really need help. Please advise me on what to do.

@shenenenes&nbsp;You need to let the game recreate the Mods folder and the resource.cfg file. Move the Mods folder to the desktop and start the game so they are recreated. Then you can start moving CC and Mods to it while testing that they work.

@jpkarlsenWhen I opened sims 4 it didn't recreate the mods folder, does it take time or does it happen immediately after?
