my computer fan is so hot when playing the sims

Hi there, my computer gets extremely hot when playing the sims 4 and I'm really not too sure why. My computer is only a month old and I;ve barely used it. But the thing that is weird is as soon as I stop playing the game and close it, my computer is fine again. Is there a way to stop this? Thank you so much 🙂
