My Downloaded Sims game keeps saying it isn’t downloaded

I play the sims all the time and every time I get on the EA app my Sims game keeps saying “download” even though I already had it downloaded because I just played it! And all my save files are in the “saves” folder via Sims 4 folder via electronic arts.

I restarted the app, cleared the cache, uninstalled the app than reinstalled it. I tried and I tried different methods, and I know if I pressed “download” all of my data would be deleted just like it did the last time!

please help me 😭

  • avocado_naii  Where is Sims 4 installed, when it's installed, according to the EA App?  You can see the location under Sims 4 > Manage > View properties.

If it never shows as installed, even after you download it, you should be able to see the download location when you try to install it again.

Please also let me know what antivirus you use.

  • Thanks for getting back to me!

I don't use an antivirus and I fixed that issue but I have another issue because my game keeps reading an error code, it says "core/sims4/tuning/tunable .py". it's crashing my game, loading my game slow and when I try to click on things in my game it's slow as well. I thought it might of been from Lot 51 core but I deleted it and i'm still having this issue. I would appreciate the help because I don't know at this point.
