I’m using my hp desktop. It’s been working but now it’s just not functioning properly, and I’ve deleted some of my mods I’ve downloaded but it’s still not working or loading onto my computer. I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled it twice now and it still will not load.
- crinrict2 years agoHero+@jtholecek Did you also test with no mods/cc at all ?

Yeah, it still won’t work, and every time I restart my computer the screen is just black. It won’t even work either. I guess I’ll have to get it fixed Wednesday when my dad comes over.

Hi @jtholecek
I'm moving this over to the PC tech forum
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag, if you require further help
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post - jtholecek2 years agoRising Novice
I don’t even know if my computer has that. It’s a hp desktop computer. I’ve had it for a while.
@jtholecek If you have an HP computer and it runs Sims 4, it runs Windows. That in turn means that you can run a dxdiag, as Crinrict has described. Please do so and attach the text file to a reply here. This is not a fix, just a way to gather information about your system, and hopefully figure out why the game isn't working.

I got my game to work this morning. I just had to reset my computer and reinstall the game and ea for my computer. Hopefully I don’t have this issue again when I get home tomorrow morning.
