My game is not working

Hello

I've tried redownloading the game and repairing the game, but my problem still persists. The problem is, when I go to another world or when I try to build stuff on the lot, it goes into live mode and all but I cant get the pop ups to work, so if I click on a chair for example, it doesn't say sit or show me my sims face it just shows that the object is clickable. So I have to restart the game, this first occured last year sometime in september or october. Also the different in game challenges totally disappear when I play. The game once again shows me that they're clickable, but nothing else, except the blast from the past event.
