@Sheda1987 Removing your mods shouldn't affect your free space unless your mods were on D and you moved them to C. Otherwise, it sounds like you just copied the Mods folder. At any rate, it's fine to store the mods on D for the time being. Even if free storage wasn't originally an issue, it's going to be now and can therefore complicate troubleshooting.
Please also post the relevant details from the newest crash. You can upload a new crash dump if you want, or just look for the info in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for an error that happened at exactly the time of last night's crash. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a corresponding error, please say so, and also let me know whether the crash was Sims 4 only or your whole computer crashed too.
This is the information from the problem details for all the game crashes I had: The program TS4_x64.exe version 1.96.397.1020 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel. I can't find any other information than this. The EA app is constantly crashing (I think this may be an EA problem to be honest) and sometime the game won't start along with a message from EA. Also during gameplay when I visit a lot, I constantly get messages that build mode items were removed because I don't own the items (I actually do own the items). Every time I exit the game, it'll freeze, the screen will go white, and say "The Sims 4 has stopped working." I always have to click to end the process.

@Sheda1987 Is OneDrive running on your computer (whether you use it or not), and how full is it? Does it help to pause OneDrive syncing while you play?
You can also try putting the EA App in offline mode before launching Sims 4. This would cut off your access to the Gallery, but the rest of the game should work as normal.
If these steps don't help, please let me know what antivirus you use.
