My Game Packs Are GONE!

Hello,

As I was creating a new household in the sims yesterday, I noticed all but one expansion pack is missing! When I went to look to see if I had them in the main menu it was requiring me to repurchase the packs I had already OWNED! I've lost my Toddler Stuff pack, Vampires, City Living, and Seasons. I don't want to repay for all of these packs especially since I had already owned them! How can I get these back? I feel like EA is cheating me...

  • @biasyoonmin If clearing your cache does not fix things you can also try repairing your game through Origin:

    1. Select My Game Library in Origin.
    2. Right-click on the Sims 4 game tile.
    3. Select Repair

Wait for it to go through all of your expansion packs as well. The file check can take a while to complete depending on your computer's hardware. Then start your game and see if everything looks good again.

You can find a step-by-step tutorial on this link:

To find proof-of-purchase for all of your game packs, while still in Origin, click on "Origin" in the top left and select Order History from the drop-down menu. This will take you to the myaccount.ea.com site where you should find proof of purchase for all of your Sims 4 and other Origin purchases. This might come in handy in case you do need to contact EA customer support.

    I hope this helps!

I did this before and all it did was just repair the ones that I already have and I did the steps that everyone is saying it all started out with just by me pre ordering the one games that sims can go and ski and after I did half of my games are gone I also talked to eat a lot and they just told me to go to that cashe they think that would help but I still don't have my sims 4 games yet and I pre paid last year so I haven't played in a long time because I don't like seeing that half of my games are gone

Did you ever get your problem fixed? I'm having the same issues now, and have been trying every day to resolve it since a week ago. There doesn't seem to be a fix for me, but they tell me to be patient and that they'll escalate the problem.

Unfortunately the pack that is missing is one that I use, and I'm not even sure what would become of my save much less where my sims would end up. Since EA doesn't seem to have any answers for me, I'm trying to pick the brains of anyone that I can in order to help fix this since even giving me a store credit so I don't have to repurchase it isn't an option.

And as far as someone having said that they feel that EA is cheating them....I feel that completely.

    Hi folks,

Your game packs will not be deleted or removed from your EA account unless you expressly ask the support team to remove them. That means they are on there somewhere, we just need to do the right troubleshooting steps to get them to appear again for you.

Above, members have already recommended two common helpful troubleshooting steps,  to try:

    • Clearing your Origin Cache
    • Reparing the game in Origin
    • If you've tried these two steps, the third most common helpful step is to check out your filter settings from the Origin Client: Find missing games in your Origin Library

Once you've tried all 3 of these steps and confirmed your packs are not showing up on the Origin account you're checking, double-check you’re signed into the right account. Look for your packs in your Games Library in the Origin Client. If they aren't listed under the Base Game tile under 'expansion packs' or 'game packs', etc, you may have another account. Try logging in to Origin with any other email addresses you may have used. If you find another account, check if your games are there instead.

Another way to verify what EA account the packs are linked to is to track the purchases. If you made the purchases in Origin, you'll be able to (double-check that by checking out your Order History. If you purchased the game packs outside of Origin online, you'll likely have an email receipt with a game code. It would be a good idea to have that information ready for when you contact our support team so they can help track down where the game is tethered to. In addition to the game code, the support team may require proof of purchase for purchases made outside of Origin, so it would be good to have that ready also

Please follow this advise and create a new bug report thread if these steps and the support team have not been able to help. In the meantime, I'll close out this thread to limit necroposting.

    Thank you,
