My Mods carpet does't appear

By personal reasosn i had to uninstall the sims and then i downloaded the game again and by personal preference y like to play with some mods so when i tried to place my mods on the mods carpet it wasn't there and i have tried a lot of things,i uninstalled the game again to see if the carpet would appear,it didin't i read somewhere that you need to play first the game to make the carpet appear, it also didn't work so i keep playing and still the carpet doesn't appear, i also tried making myself the carpet and still the mods dont't seem to work.Please someone tell me what can i do i even asked chatgpt to seek some answers
