My mods folder is not spawning

Hello, so my issue is when i download the game no mods folder is spawning up in the game, ive been a sims 4 player for a lil bit so i know where to check for my mods folder, so then i try to boot up the game thinking a mods folder will show up none shows up, then i create one so the game will recognize it and give me the resource.cfg file but when i exit out the game no resource file is being created and Ive tried deleting my game, deleting ea and deleting all my mods, ive tried this twice but nothing seems to be working, I also play on an external hard drive so I dont know if that contributes to the problem.

    @Szera_e A few questions to get you to the right support with the right information:

    1. Are you on a Mac or a PC (a non-Mac computer)?
    2. Are you running anything OneDrive, iCloud, or any similar syncing software?
    3. What's the full path of your Mods folder? A screenshot of it, including the address bar part, would be helpful too.

    1. I am on a Pc 

    2. I turned off my OneDrive 

    3. the things is I dont have a mods folder it did not create one when downloading the game and when i did create it did not recognize it so not resource file was made but here is a ss of my sims 4 folder path

    The game on PC is specifically looking for the user data folders to be located in the folder identified as the Documents folder. This can be any folder as long as it is designated to windows as being the Documents folder.

    By default it will exist in C:\[username]\Documents\ 

    If OneDrive is installed and set to Sync your windows folders it will be under [path]\OneDrive\Documents\ 

    The game will recreate it's data folders in whatever directory is currently designated as the Documents folder.
