My sim was in labor and the baby disappeared!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? My sim was pregnant and the baby disappeared.
What happens when the bug occurs? Baby doesn't show up.
What do you expect to see? The baby show up

My sim was pregnant and I took her to the hospital when she was in labor and she was giving birth and the doctor randomly stopped and left the room and I followed him and he just left the entire hospital and my sim was still having the surgery, then I got a notification saying she had the baby and I needed a name so I gave him a name and he didn't show up at all. No emotion or moodlets, he wasn't down the bottom and I got nothing saying they had the baby. My sim glitched out of the surgery thing and the bassinet was there ready and there is no baby. I left the hospital and tried to reset him and nothing made him show up.
I don't know what to do.
