My Sims 4 game is making me download the Legacy Edition but my OS is 64 bit.

Question

I went to play my game a little while ago and I got a message saying it would NOT run without Legacy Edition but I thought it was for non 64 bit computers. I checked yesterday and my OS says its 64 bit so why wont my game play without it? Is my game really NOT 64 bit and the control panel is lying? It was originally a Windows 7 computer but I upgraded it to Windows 10 the same day I got it, which is several years ago.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/You can attach the txt file to your post directly.

In addition to&nbsp;@crinrict&nbsp; request can you tell if Origin perhaps was set to load the 32bit version of the game?

How do you check origin to see what it is set to download?

This is only for PC though, if you're on a Mac, you're on 64 bit anyways and it's only important if your Mac supports metal or not.
