Sims 4 stuck on white screen

Hi, Im also having the same problem, it started a little after i updated, i click play on ea and my sims tab appear but stays white and if i try to click it, it says not responding then windows has me end the process. So far ive tried

uninstalling, reinstalling, repairing sims and ea, removing mods, plumbbuddy, then 50/50 method then all of them, still didnt work, ive renamed the og file to backup so it could generate a new refreshed one, cleared all cache, downloaded a new intel processor graphics, restarted my laptop, deleted origin.ini so it would develop a new one, changed my resolution to 1280x720, actually the last time my game worked i recall messing with the resolution and when it partly loads the mouse is big and you can tell the screen is either wide or zoomed but still white, ive used advanced settings to make it windowed in ea, ive went into settings and put it on power saving graphics, ive deleted and reinstalled ea, ive run it as an administrator and cleared cache there, ive deleted game version, ive made it an exclusion in windows security, my sims used to run just fine until yesterday i dont understand whats going on

my laptop is an hp pavilion 8th gen core intel i5 if that helps

  • PrettyClouds  I've split your post into its own thread sine the other thread is two years old.

Did you try forcing the game to load in windowed mode?  It sounds like you've found the Options.ini file, which has a setting called fullscreen that you can set to 0 (zero).

If that doesn't or didn't help, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
