My Sims 4 game will not work

Hello, i’ve reached out to EA multiple times now but have received nothing back. Every time I launch my Sims 4 game via EA it opens, loads and then kicks me out and takes me back to EA. I have had this problem for about a month now. I’ve tried everything I have taken all of my mods out and it still isn’t working. If anyone knows what to do please help me I’ve spent lots of money of this game and would really like to be able to play again.

The EA app is trash! EA is trash and quite frankly I do not know what they are doing over there. Seems like all of the engineers are incompetent, I have never seen such bad software in my life. It does not integrate well with Steam on Windows and does not work at all on Linux.

  • shiningjs4u  I apologize for the late reply.  I don't check this forum as often and just missed your post, but I'll move you to PC tech now.  This is the master thread for the problem:

One thing you can try is adding back any mods or custom content you were using with these saves, updated versions where necessary of course.  Some players who have this issue report that the underlying cause is a missing custom tattoo that they've used on one of their sims.  But that may not be the only trigger.

An alternate approach is to create a new save; no need to spend much time on it.  Save your progress, quit, and move your old saves from the old folder to the new one.  Make sure to renumber the newest save, that you just created, if it conflicts with one of your older saves.

Try again to load the game, and if you can get to the Main Menu, use Load Game to select an older save and play it.  If the save is fine, you can continue playing it and save your progress; it might work again.
